FanDuel SportsbookAudi Field Sportsbook
The FanDuel Sportsbook at Audi Field is the only in-DC retail sportsbook physically inside an MLS-hosting stadium. The 2,550 sq ft space includes 3 staffed betting windows and 18 self-serve kiosks. As the official sportsbook partner of DC United, FanDuel ties the venue to match-day promotions and Spirit-related Audi Field events.
What\'s inside
The FanDuel Sportsbook at Audi Field is more intimate than Capital One Arena or Nationals Park, designed for focused betting rather than a full sports-bar experience. Three staffed windows handle high-stakes and complex bets; 18 self-serve kiosks distribute lower-stake volume. HD screens cover the major sports including soccer (Premier League, Champions League, La Liga, MLS, NWSL, international competitions). A small bar serves drinks and snacks.
On DC United home match days the sportsbook becomes a critical pre-match gathering point. The DC United partnership means FanDuel runs match-specific promotions, price boosts on DC United outcomes, and themed events around USMNT and CONCACAF Champions Cup matches.
How to bet at Audi Field
- Staffed windows. Three windows handle cash bets and answer questions about complex parlays or SGP builders.
- Self-serve kiosks. 18 kiosks accept cash. Touchscreen markets cover every sport offered by FanDuel.
- FanDuel app inside. The FanDuel Sportsbook app works fully throughout Audi Field. Many bettors use the app from their seat during a DC United match for live betting, then visit the counter for higher-stake or cash-only bets.
DC United partnership
FanDuel is the official sports betting partner of DC United, which makes Audi Field the spiritual home of FanDuel\'s DC operation even though FanDuel\'s broader DC business is online and citywide. Match-day promotional value is highest for DC United home matches: pre-match price boosts, in-match SGP+ specials, and post-match leaderboard contests run regularly during the MLS season.
FanDuel also ran the first DC sportsbook deal with the DC Lottery in April 2024, replacing GambetDC as the citywide flagship operator. While that\'s a citywide operation rather than an Audi Field operation specifically, the retail counter is one of the most visible expressions of the FanDuel-DC connection.
NWSL and Washington Spirit at Audi Field
The Washington Spirit (NWSL) shares Audi Field with DC United for most home matches. The FanDuel sportsbook is open during Spirit home matches the same way it is for DC United, with Spirit-specific market depth across all FanDuel markets. While Fanatics is the official Washington Spirit sportsbook partner (not FanDuel), bettors at Audi Field can place Spirit bets at the FanDuel counter.
Cash limits
The retail counter pays cash winnings up to $10,000 on the spot. Larger payouts are issued by check or credited to your FanDuel online account balance.
Other DC retail sportsbooks
If you want to compare DC\'s three major retail sportsbooks before visiting:
- Caesars at Capital One Arena: largest, most sports-bar feel, downtown location.
- BetMGM at Nationals Park: deepest MLB market depth, MGM Rewards crossover.
- FanDuel at Audi Field: smaller, more focused, DC United partnership.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a DC United ticket to bet at the FanDuel sportsbook?
No, except during DC United home matches and certain other ticketed Audi Field events. The FanDuel Sportsbook has a public-access entrance on non-match days. On DC United match days you need to enter via the standard stadium gates with a valid match ticket. On non-match days you can walk in directly.
What are the operating hours?
Typical year-round hours are Tuesday through Thursday 12pm to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to midnight, Sunday 12pm to 10pm (closed Mondays during the MLS offseason; check current schedule). On DC United home match days the sportsbook opens 2 hours before kickoff and stays open through the final whistle.
How do I get to Audi Field?
The Navy Yard / Ballpark station on the Green Line is a 10-minute walk to Audi Field. Driving: a 600-space parking garage is on-site at the stadium with rates around $25 on non-match days. On DC United match days surrounding street parking is heavily restricted; Metro is strongly recommended.
What's the difference between Audi Field and Capital One Arena sportsbooks?
Capital One Arena (Caesars) is larger (20 windows, 12 kiosks, sports bar feel, full restaurant) and downtown. Audi Field (FanDuel) is smaller (3 windows, 18 kiosks, more focused setup), located in Navy Yard, and oriented toward DC United fans on match days. Both accept cash bets on any sport across DC sportsbook markets, but the in-venue energy is quite different.
Are FanDuel app bets accumulated with retail bets for promos?
Yes. FanDuel uses a single account across the app and the retail counter at Audi Field. If you have an active welcome bonus, qualifying retail bets count toward unlocking it the same as app bets do. FanDuel does not currently have a formal loyalty tier program in the way Caesars Rewards or MGM Rewards work, so the retail-vs-app distinction matters less from a points-accumulation standpoint.
